Following the trauma of the financial crisis, this major retail bank wanted to understand better its requirements for talent. What talent did it need to become the ‘Go-To’ bank? Of particular interest was how younger generations could be attracted to banking, how early careers could be shaped and formed, and how employees could move around the business to get the right mix of experience. We were commissioned to undertaking this wide-ranging study into the future of global banking talent, taking into account how the world of work is changing and developing a set of strategic imperatives.
